Diagnostics

Answers When You Need Them Most

When your pet isn’t acting like themselves, you want answers—without a waiting game.

At Soda Springs Animal Clinic, we use in-house diagnostic tools to get a clearer picture, faster. Whether it’s sudden limping, a change in appetite, or something just feels “off,” we can often uncover what’s going on within the same visit.

You’ll stay in the room while we examine your pet, walk you through what we see, and talk through what we find.

What We Can Do In-House

Digital X-rays

High-quality images of bones, joints, and soft tissue. Especially helpful for injuries, limping, or suspected masses.

Ultrasound

A non-invasive way to examine the heart, liver, bladder, and other internal organs in real time.

Complete blood counts (CBC)

Helps detect infection, anemia, and immune system changes.

Chemistry panels

Assess kidney, liver, and metabolic function. Especially important in senior pets or those showing subtle changes.

Blood morphology analyzer

Our latest tool captures images of your pet’s blood cells. This helps us spot unusual shapes or signs of disease earlier than standard labs might.

Ear cytology

Used for diagnosing ear infections, mites, or yeast. Our machine provides fast, clear images so we can confirm the right treatment.

We don’t over-test. We explain what we’re looking for and why it matters.
