Pet Boarding at Soda Springs Animal Clinic
A safe, steady place.
Leaving your pet behind is never simple. Whether you’re traveling, managing a busy season, or handling something unexpected, it helps to know your pet is somewhere calm, cared for, and supported by people who know animals well.
At Soda Springs Animal Clinic, we offer boarding for dogs and cats in a veterinary setting. Our approach is straightforward and thoughtful: consistent routines, compassionate care, and clear communication so you can focus on what you need to do while your pet is in good hands.
Boarding is available for both new and existing clients. If you’re not sure whether boarding with us is the right fit for your pet, we’re always happy to talk it through.
What boarding with us is like
Boarding at a veterinary clinic is a little different than a large kennel or daycare, and for many pets, that difference matters.
When your pet boards with us, you can expect:
We focus on comfort, predictability, and safety, not overstimulation. This can be especially helpful for pets who prefer a quieter setting.
Care from people who are here for your pet
Our kennel team is kind, attentive, and here every day caring for boarding pets. Dogs are let out regularly throughout the day, and a team member returns late at night to make sure dogs have another opportunity to go outside before bedtime.
We know boarding can be stressful for some pets. Our goal is to keep routines steady, handling gentle, and care consistent so your pet feels as settled as possible during their stay.
Support for pets with medical needs
Because we’re a veterinary clinic, our team is trained to care for pets who need medications while boarding.
This includes:
- Oral medications
- Topical medications
- Injectable medications, including insulin
If your pet needs care beyond routine boarding support, we’ll always communicate with you before moving forward.
Vaccination requirements for boarding
To help keep all boarding pets healthy, dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines:
- DA2PPL4 (distemper and parvovirus with leptospirosis)
- Bordetella (kennel cough)
- Rabies
Short stays and extended boarding
Some pets stay with us for a weekend. Others need boarding for longer periods due to travel, work, or life changes.
Depending on availability, we can accommodate both short and extended boarding stays, including longer-term situations. If you’re unsure how long you’ll need boarding, just let us know and we’ll talk through what’s possible.
Before your pet’s stay
To make boarding as smooth as possible, we’ll talk through:
Our goal is for you to feel informed and comfortable before your pet ever arrives.
